Darwin Nunez has been handed the No.27 shirt at Liverpool.
The Uruguayan joined Jurgen Klopp’s facet from Portuguese outfit, Benfica, and was formally offered as a Reds this week.
The shirt was not too long ago vacated by Divock Origi, who joined Serie A champions AC Milan.
Talking after signing a six-year cope with the Merseyside membership, Darwin mentioned;
“I am actually pleased and delighted to be right here at Liverpool. It is a large membership,” Nunez advised Liverpoolfc.com.
“It is a pleasure to be right here in Liverpool and I am very pleased to be part of this nice membership.
“I’ve performed towards Liverpool and I’ve seen them in a number of video games within the Champions League, and it is my model of play. There are some nice gamers right here and I believe it will swimsuit my model of play right here.
“As I say, I’ve watched rather a lot and it is a very large membership and I hope I may give all the things that I’ve received so as to assist the crew.”
