NEW YORK/WASHINGTON June 17 (Reuters) – TikTok has accomplished migrating its U.S. customers’ data to servers at Oracle Corp (ORCL.N), in a transfer that would handle U.S. regulatory issues over information integrity on the favored video app, the corporate confirmed to Reuters.

The transfer comes almost two years after a U.S. nationwide safety panel ordered ByteDance to divest TikTok due to fears that U.S. consumer information may very well be handed on to China’s authorities.

The White Home and U.S. Treasury had no speedy remark.
